Likened to Portishead or early St. Vincent and described as Clairo meets Bats for Lashes or Radiohead’s ‘Talk Show Host’ meets Stina Nordenstam’s ‘Little Star’, indie artist Sahara Grim holds an eclectic background spanning bossa nova, jazz, classic rock, and Indian classical music.

Sahara joined minds with producer & artist Luke Temple (Art Feynman) in the creation of her debut album Fable, released in February 2025. Active in the underground LA music scene, Sahara collaborated on Fable with artists including Nailah Hunter, Doug Stuart (Brijean), and Lionmilk.

Sahara’s ethnic roots in India and Japan are seamlessly interwoven within her musical path, from studying sitar at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, where she received a degree in World Music & Jazz, to performing in venues across Japan.

Sahara has shared the stage with The Marías, Charlotte Day Wilson, and Léa Sen among others.
